We are looking to hire a carpenter helper/laborer who wants to continue learning and growing with the business. 


This is a full-time position, carpentry work on residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Ability to work independently and within a team taking direction, problem-solving, strong communication, and customer service skills needed, as you will need to work directly with homeowners daily. 


Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning & Organizing
  • Load/unload truck & trailer
  • Set up & maintain the job site
  • Basic carpentry & demolition.
  • Responsible for safely handling all products and tools.
  • Lift products safely using proper techniques.
  • Provide a professional and pleasant customer experience.
  • Communicate with office staff if any issues or delays occur.


Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Must have a valid NYS Driver's License that is maintained.
  • Having a pick-up truck or large van that can fit material is preferred.
  • Acceptable background check.
  • Experience with hand tools & reading a tape measure.
  • Experience operating power tools.
  • Basic carpentry skills.
  • Manual labor experience.
  • Ability to lift and carry 100 lbs frequently.
  • Kitchen and bath industry experience preferred.
  • OSHA 10 Card is a plus but not necessary.


Compensation:

  • Full-time
  • Competitive hourly pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
  • $75.00 per month on tool allowance
  • Benefits begin six months after full-time starts.
